About Shutr
Shutr is a small community for photographers who like sharing real photos from real places.
Share what you capture, follow people whose work inspires you, and find photos that make you want to get back outside.
We’re not against AI. Shutr is simply built for something different: photos people actually took, from moments that actually happened.
What you can do
- Share photos to a feed of people you follow
- Post captures that fade after a day
- Send direct messages and reply to captures
- Browse Explore and hashtags when you want inspiration
What we’re not trying to be
Shutr is not a viral discovery engine, an influencer platform, or a place built around endless scrolling.
Your feed is mostly chronological: people you follow first, photos from real life.
Privacy & control
Feed preferences like mute, see less, and block are private. Other people are not notified when you use them.
JPEG posts may show camera settings (EXIF) to logged-in viewers on the photo. We never read GPS from your files or ask for browser location. Your profile city is whatever you type.
